    I’m relatively new to massage therapy so I didn’t know what to expect for the session. From the minute I walked in it was clear Sam was professional and intent on providing as comfortable and relaxing an experience as possible. From the lighting, different oils she used, to checking in with me from time to time throughout the therapy session, it was the most relaxed I’ve been in quite some time. As an athlete I had plenty of knots to work out and she did an amazing job of using quite a few techniques, including cupping (which was cool) that had me walking out feeling like a different person. Can’t wait for my next session.

    It can be a really vulnerable thing to entrust another person with your body. To be honest with someone else about it’s weaknesses and the places that have been worn down by the stressors of life. As I’ve gotten older, and the places that hurt or aren’t as strong as they used to be have made themselves known, I realize I am unwilling to give that role to just anyone.

    Sam is an extraordinary healer. She is beyond knowledgeable about the body and has a holistic, mindful and nurturing approach to caring for it. For the past year, she has helped ease tension and stress out of my body, focused on the rehabilitation and healing of old injuries, and most importantly been a great teacher of learning the practice of self compassion and kindness towards one’s body and self.

    I've been getting massages regularly for the past few years and Sam is hands down the best massage therapist I've had and I love her holistic approach! She incorporates a lot of body movement into her therapy that allows her to work entire muscles and address the issue throughout the body. She's very knowledgeable in her practice and incorporates a variety of tools to meet your body's needs for that session. Her added touch of starting off the session with a burst of essential oils is a great way to set the tone and I like that she rounds it out with warm towels to sustain relaxation and wipe off any excess oils or lotions.
